Apurva Vanguri-Weeks AGACNP-BC

Apurva Vanguri-Weeks, AGACNP-BC is an outstanding nurse practitioner who works at Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates in Katy, Cypress, Houston and Fulshear. She also sees patients at Houston Methodist West, Houston Methodist Continuing Care, Memorial Hermann Katy, and Memorial Hermann Memorial City.

Apurva was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She worked as a pharmacy tech for both retail and specialty pharmacies prior to becoming a nurse. She received her Associate Degree of Nursing from Wharton County Junior College. She began her nursing career at a level 2 trauma center in Bryan, Tx at CHI St. Joseph Health. She worked as a nurse on the telemetry, IMU, cardiac catheterization lab and interventional radiology units. While working here, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University of Texas at Arlington. Apurva moved back to her Houston and started working in the cardiac catheterization lab at Houston Methodist West. While working as nurse, she continued her studies at University of Texas at Arlington and graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing.

In her spare time, Apurva enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her family and her dog. She is also a proud member of American Nurses Association and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
