George Mammen, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Mammen was born in India, in the southern state of Kerala. He moved to the United States in 1976 after completing medical school. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, and moved to Houston in 1979 to attend the Cardiology Fellowship program at Texas Heart Institute (St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital).
Dr. Mammen is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He joined Memorial City Cardiology Associates in 1982, and obtained his certification in Interventional Cardiology in 2000. He is trained in all aspects of adult cardiology with emphasis on coronary artery disease and heart failure. Dr. Mammen has particular interest in invasive procedures such as angioplasty, stent implantation and pacemakers.
Dr. Mammen is active in hospital and physician affairs and has served as Chief of Cardiology at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital. He has also served as Medical Director of the ICU at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital.
Dr. Mammen's personal interests include tennis and skiing. He likes to spend his spare time with his wife, and three children.

Rajen Mehta, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Specialty: Cardiovascular Diseases Dr. Mehta was born in Winnipeg, Canada, he grew up in Houston and is a graduate of Memorial High School. He joined Memorial City Cardiology in 1998. He has expertise in all aspects of Cardiology with special interest in high blood pressure, cholesterol disorders, coronary artery disease, and heart failure. Dr. Mehta is trained in cardiac special procedures, including coronary angiography and angioplasty, pacemaker insertion and transesophageal echocardiography. His main research has been in cardiac imaging and he has several publications on echocardiography. Dr. Mehta places special emphasis on patient education.

Anil Odhav, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Specialty: Cardiovascular Diseases Dr. Odhav was born in Zambia, Africa. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Zambia, he attended The University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, where he completed his Internal Medicine residency and a year as Chief Resident/Clinical Instructor.
Dr. Odhav performed his cardiovascular training at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and joined Memorial City Cardiology Associates in January 2001.
He is interested in all aspects of adult cardiology with special interest in invasive cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiogram, hypertension and peripheral vascular diseases. Certification was obtained from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1995 for Internal Medicine and in 2000 for Cardiovascular Diseases.
Dr. Odhav holds active memberships in a number of organizations, including The American Board of Internal Medicine, American College of Cardiology, Texas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society and Houston Heart Failure Society.
During his spare time, Dr. Odhav enjoys traveling with his wife and their children.

James Feldman, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Specialty: Cardiovascular Dr. Feldman was born in Houston, Texas. He grew up in the Memorial area and attended Memorial High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in Economics with honors from The University of Texas at Austin. He then completed his medical training at Creighton University School of Medicine. His Internal Medicine and Cardiology Fellowship were completed at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Feldman is a board certified cardiologist with a strong interest in medical imaging. He is also board certified in Echocardiography with Level III training.

Amir Kashani, M.D., M.S., F.A.C.C. Clinical Instructor of Medicine, Baylor College of Medicine
Dr. Kashani grew up in Houston, TX and attended Second Baptist Middle School and High School. He completed his Internal Medicine training at Rochester General Hospital, University of Rochester School of Medicine where he also served as Chief Resident/Clinical Instructor. He attended Yale University School of Medicine for his Cardiovascular and Electrophysiology training. Additionally, he was chosen to serve as Chief Fellow during his Cardiovascular training at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Kashani also trained in Interventional Cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kashani has been heavily involved in clinical cardiovascular research. Amidst his over 30 publications, he has numerous collaborations with the TIMI Group, Harvard School of Medicine and with Yale School of Medicine, Section of Epidemiology and Public Health. He is an invited author on several books, and he has been invited to present his research both nationally and internationally. Dr. Kashani currently continues his academic interests as a teaching faculty of Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Kashani remains active by enjoying a variety of sports. Also, he and his wife have a special interest in community service. Dr. Kashani is the President, Founder, and/or member of several charity organizations in Houston. One major focus of the charity organization that Dr. Kashani has established is providing health care to underprivileged children in Houston.
